So, we were sitting here in the couch discussin the dates, when we realized it was Dr. Suess's birthday! So in his honor, me, Spencer, and mostly Kamilla wrote him a poem! :) Here goes....
Happy Birthday Dr. Suess
This wish is form us to you-se!
Babies are young, old people are old
You're really ancient...but your books have been sold!
From green eggs and ham
to the man named sam
I am eating spam
which is kind of like ham
which is gross and disguating
in all sorts of ways.
I wouldn't eat it, not even at plays.
What kind of present would you like today?
Your 105... hip hip hooray!
Who to invite to this party for you?
Star belly sneeches, thing one and thing two?
Red fish, green fish, the cat in the hat?
We'll invite them all, what do you think about that?
Presents, ice cream, and even some cake
come to the party for heavens sake
Speaking of heaven, you're dead aren't you?
Now all the guests they have to shoo.
Presents, ice cream, its all a waste
This birthday cake we'll never taste.
You're gone, Dr. Suess, it makes us all sad
Hey..... this cake ain't too bad!!
Come back all you sneetches, you things 1 and 2.
Come back, try this cake! Please don't shoo.
This party aint done,
it'll be lots of fun.
Rhyming and climbing, and playing kazoos
stay and play, there's lots to doose!
We miss you Dr. Suess, you and that hat
the hat with the stripes
that hat on the cat.
We miss the good ol' days
of silly little books
we miss all your characters
and their striking good looks!
We'd sing you a song
but this poem is getting long
Just know, Dr. Suess, that even though your gone
Your memory lives on!
Now all we need is some illustrations! We were thinking about having a Dr. Suess birthday party tomorrow night for fhe! I'll let you know how it goes :)

Wow em, that was quite the poem! It must have taken you forever to write! Way to go though, a party for him sounds like fun Love you, call me because i want to know if you got the oakcrest job and i want you to be on some other sort of team here that will be a great job during the school year. What a poem. We need to publish it. I didn't read about the party until this am so I guess I missed it. I should get out my old books and read Dr. Suess again. Never to old. Proud of you for all you do.
